How do I reconstitute a peptide?

How do I read units on a U-100 insulin syringe?
A U-100 insulin syringe holds 100 units (IU) per millilitre, so each 1 IU tick equals 0.01 mL. A 10 IU mark is therefore 0.10 mL — it is a volume mark, not a measure of milligrams or micrograms. The calculator converts your dose into the exact unit tick to fill to.
What is the difference between mg, mcg, and IU?
Milligrams (mg) and micrograms (mcg) measure the mass of peptide — 1 mg = 1,000 mcg. IU on an insulin syringe measures the volume you draw (1 IU = 0.01 mL). Vials are usually labeled in mg, doses are usually specified in mcg, and the syringe is read in IU, which is why a calculator is helpful.
How much bacteriostatic water should I add?
